Now Enrolling for Summer Camps, Summer Courses, and School Year programs serving Early Preschool through High School.

Stratford School is a co-educational private school offering an exceptional education in a safe and nurturing environment to children in Early Preschool (age 2) through High School. Established in 1999 by local educator Sherry Adams, the school has now grown to more than 30 campuses educating over 10,000 students throughout the Bay Area and Southern California.

Stratford School’s advanced STEAM curriculum allows students to explore their unique interests and develop the skills they need to become critical thinkers, innovative problem-solvers, and confident leaders – skills that support lifelong learning and future success.

Stratford starts early, capitalizing on the natural wonder of young learners, with Early Preschool programs at select campuses, beginning at age 2. Stratford’s programs provide a balanced education that ignites curiosity, fosters exploration, and inspires a love of learning. Specialty classes are offered beginning in preschool, with dedicated specialty teachers in science, world language (Spanish or Mandarin), and music. Select campuses also offer Stratford’s signature Mandarin Bilingual preschool programs, with two teachers in the classroom and instruction in both Mandarin and English.

Specialty classes continue in elementary and middle school, including computer science, world languages (Spanish and Mandarin), and P.E. Stratford Preparatory’s high school program offers dedicated college counseling and a variety of A.P. and advanced courses, ensuring students are well prepared to succeed in college and beyond.

This year will mark Stratford Preparatory Blackford’s first class of graduating seniors. Notably, 14% of the seniors earned National Merit Scholarship Program Semifinalist distinctions, placing Stratford Preparatory Blackford among the nation's top college-preparatory programs. The founding class showcased the culmination of their hard work and academic excellence with an impressive list of college acceptances to an exceptional range of highly selective institutions, including Princeton University, Cornell University, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, the University of Cambridge, and Georgia Tech, among many other notable institutions. Students will also attend all of the prestigious University of California campuses, including UC Berkeley, UCLA, UC San Diego, and UC Irvine.

In addition to robust academic programs, Stratford also places a strong emphasis on character development and social-emotional learning at every stage of a student’s journey. Students are encouraged to engage and make a difference in their own community through the Stratford Cares program. Stratford Cares supports students in participating in charitable giving and community service projects throughout the school year. This sets a foundation for community engagement and leadership throughout a student’s life.

To give students a well-rounded experience where they can pursue their passions and explore new interests, Stratford also offers a wide variety of unique after-school clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities, as well as competition opportunities in math, science, engineering, world languages, and more. Students are encouraged to participate in a range of activities and leadership opportunities to broaden their horizons.

Summer@Stratford offers a variety of summer camp options for learning and fun, including Roar and Explore Day Camps, grade-level Academic Camps, Specialty Camps, Sports Camps, and Summer Courses for middle and high school students. These camps and courses are open to students in the community and continue to enroll throughout the summer.
